That’s why I created Gamecock Roost.

Gamecock Roost is an independent South Carolina sports media outlet built to give Gamecock fans another place to follow the teams they care about. The goal is simple: keep fans informed, break down what’s happening and provide analysis and perspective from someone who follows the Gamecocks just as closely as they do.

What You’ll Find at Gamecock Roost

Football will be a major focus here, with coverage of team news, recruiting, the transfer portal, game previews, recaps, player performances and analysis throughout the season and offseason.

But the Roost won’t stop with football. We’ll also follow South Carolina basketball, baseball and other Gamecock athletics as the site continues to grow.

Some stories will focus on the latest news. Others will go deeper into what that news actually means for South Carolina. And sometimes, I’ll simply give my own perspective on where things stand.
